Before running down the stairs

And our dead Christmas tree held up for the morning excitement.

It came down 6 hours later.

No words

They even got excited about juices in their stockings

And "cell phones"

And diapers.

Its hard to see but I was trying to capture how hard Caleb was laughing.

 For some reason he thinks diapers are the funniest thing ever so we put one in his stocking.

He laughed so hard which made us all laugh.

2015 Polar Express

Our annual "Polar Express" was a hit again this year.

We pretend we are putting the kids to bed and they find a ticket under their pillows- they got so excited they ran down the stairs and got in!

By the end we had 3 sleepy children.

Brevard 2015

We visited NC this past weekend to see Papa Denning and Nonnie. We did our tradition of shopping at OP Taylors but also added in watching a synchronized Christmas light show- which was amazing. One child fell asleep before we got in. Poor Caleb. 

We drive through a mountain on the tip of TN which we always stop at the overlook for the children to run and get out some energy.

This time however it was snowing there!

Caleb chose a big van horse hauler- that he has turned into hauling anything possible

Presley chose a babydoll that uses the bathroom- complete with a potty set. Ha!

We enjoyed spending an early Christmas in NC :)

Everyone was filled with excitement for Christmas parties, a half day and dress down day!

Cohen had to write on this heart his favorite part of Christmas.

Calebs class also had a lot of fun!

The Lord is faithful to answer our prayers for some great teachers!

Presley loves to practice writing her name.

So far she has down the PR and the S!

Reason # 12542 why we love their school.

Cohen gets a senior buddy- JK gets a fifth grade buddy (or two).

They come and read to their buddies, they send them candy grams, Christmas cards, come into their class to help them do crafts, etc.

5th grade helps in car pool line and its so sweet when they spot their buddy they will all switch spots so they can help their buddy out of the car. It's really cute and we are thankful for them!

They still run to the door with excitement when Daddy gets home
It usually ends up in wrestling or playing or just one big hug

Caleb had to have his 5 year check up this week which we scheduled on school morning- just because thats fun

Our morning of "hooky" started with a trip to Kroger and a bathroom picture. I try to get these kids to pose all. the. time but when a bathroom is your background and I have 15 things in my hand then I hear "mom take our picture!"

Late to school but still had to stop at the estimation jar.

This is a fun tradition the school does leading up to Christmas Break and every day is a new item.

The students guess and if you win- you get the whole jar.

Caleb guess: "fifty one hundred"
