Bye Bye Balloons

It saddens me to say that after a whole month of having these lovely balloons in my home, we are popping them. I am surprised that they have lasted A WHOLE MONTH to the day! I guess that extra .75 a balloon for "high float" was worth it :):)

Just a day at the park....

This past Monday the boys and I attended a park date with Zach's mother and sister. Both had off for Presidents Day and it was beautiful out! I love getting out and getting fresh air :)

Where I am weak, He is strong

As the days and weeks keep passing, I find myself looking at my blog and feeling very overwhelmed. So many moments in my day, I feel like the Lord reveals parts of Himself, truths that can only come from Him, glimpses of His faithfulness and goodness, and reminders of the abundant blessings He's lavished in our lives. Other moments, He's faithful to reveal specks (or lets be honest, sometimes logs) in my eye, showing me areas where I fall short, don't measure up and how desperately I need His grace.

I feel as though those moments are so powerful, and in the moment I wish I had the time to sit down in the moment and write all that He is doing in my heart, but unfortunately in the hustle and bustle of life, the moments are fleeting. So, hopefully when I have more time I can sit down and write what the Lord is doing to me. He is so strong.

All Is Well

Valentines Day Love

We celebrated an awesome Valentines Day. It all started with a wonderful dinner at Taaza Restaurant. It was so delicious I totally recommend it :) It was great to get out with just Zach and leave the boys at home with Grammy and Papa Bill. Although I must say I missed them incredibly while we were gone. It is located off Franklin Road in the old DJ's building. While we were there Zach surprised me with......

I love this thing! Not only can I download books, but check my email AND I can download children's books that will "read" to Cohen or Caleb :) Great backup if one gets uncontrollably fussy.

It's called "What did you expect?" by Paul David Tripp. The amount of wisdom is abundant, but I wanted to share an excerpt of something that encouraged my heart today.

A Milestone Worth Noting....

We have reached another milestone : ) Cohen has pooped in the potty, TWICE (on his own, he went by himself and came and got me and told me what he did) !!! I think it is time to throw away the diapers and not look back!!!
Not to mention last night at Small Groups when the sitters were taking the older kids potty, Cohen decided he wanted to join, and WENT : )

Tomorrow is Cohen's Valentines Day party at his preschool. We put together his Valentine cards this afternoon and then made cookies for him to take....

Melody Makers Fun : )

Every Wednesday the boys and I attend MM at 9:15. The class is 45 minutes long and Cohen LOVES it. He is also very happy that his dear friend Kate is in the class as well. :) Here are some snapshots of class this morning.
