Sneak Peek

Here is a preview of Presleys nursery :) I apologize it's taken me this long to post it but I was waiting on one final piece from Grammy that she brought over this Saturday!!! For every grandchild my mom has painted a picture for the nursery. She is so talented. For Cohen it was a car, for Caleb she painted a caboose with two little boys in it and Presley she did a Joy Garden! Anyway, I was waiting to receive it so I could hang it and call it complete! I will post more pictures from the other angles of the room like the changing table area, bows, etc. but wanted to give you a peek :) 

I'm offically a chauffeur

Our car is now equipped for 3 children :) We installed Presley's car seat a few days ago and moved Cohen to the third row. He loves it back there it makes him feel like a big boy (since he knows his older buddy Ty sits in the back of his car). Although sometimes I peek back and he looks lonely as does Caleb. They are so used to conversing back and forth when Cohen was up front. But there still is not a dull moment in a car with 2 boys and I know it will be even more interesting with a newborn. We are ready! :)

Plan of Attack

One of my favorite blogs "Women Living Well" posted a link for printables titled "Plan of Attack".  There are four different versions of the printable but basically it is a day to day planner of things to attack or conquer (cleaning, organizing, menu, etc)  With only 17 days until Presleys arrival I am feeling like I still have a lot of "attacking" to do with planning meals for the boys for the time I'm in the hospital, last minute nursery touch ups, packing bags, etc. Just wanted to share this link in case you were in need of some inspiration to get things done! Almost Ready!

The race car is almost ready :) Zach went and tested this past Friday at Motormile Speedway. His "crew" came and helped, Derek, Mike, and even Dennis was able to come for some! Testing is where Zach can practice his lap times and they can see what they need to work on or change about the car. I know Zach was so thrilled to finally get in the car and run it after months of it being in a garage and the motor being rebuilt. We are excited for him to be able to race it this season! 

I was not able to go and watch him practice but the boys took the camera to get some pictures for me :)  Cohen is almost old enough to go and help daddy practice!

Loving on Presley #2

Some of my oldest friends from junior high/high school decided to throw a shower for Presley :)  It was great to get together with them since we hardly ever see each other anymore! Aisha and Leigh hosted it and we played tons of games, ate, and laughed a lot!

Presley got lots of cute things like clothes, wipes warmers, picture frames, pj's etc. We are officially set for her arrival and can't wait!  Thank you Leigh and Aisha for a great time and doing this for us, it was a lot of fun and super cute and girly!!!!

"Gale"

We are so proud of Cohen. This past Wednesday when picking him up from his class at Church he had the bear "Gale"!  Gale is the fruit of the spirit bear. :)  Meaning when a child displays some fruits of the spirit in class such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control they get to take "Gale" home for the entire week!

One of the teachers said that Cohen was showing tons of self control which we are sooo happy to hear :)  He has gotten very good at this. He has been sitting with us in big church the past 2 Sundays and has showed awesome self control as well as self control towards hurting his brother. Way to go Co!

He did it!

We tried Caleb out in his big boy bed (and in the same room with Cohen) last night!  He did amazing. We were so impressed. He did try to escape the bed several times (more like 30+) but after placing him back in bed over and over and over he finally got the point and stayed until he soothed himself to sleep. The best part about this was when it was finally quiet I heard giggling on the monitor.  He and Cohen would take turns giggling at one another. It was so sweet. He didn't make a peep all night. Today's nap was also a success so lets hope this keeps up!

Dirt

I have given up on buying the boys anything to play with outside for one reason. They won't play with it. They only want to play in... this dirt pile.

We had a wonderful Sunday! We started off with heading to Church to praise and worship the rising of our Savior!  We let Cohen sit with us during service instead of being in his class and he really really enjoyed it and did an amazing job!

Take 1, 2 and 3

We ate lunch at Momaw's with Zach's family then headed over to Grammy's for dinner and an egg hunt! 

 

35 weeks pregnant and have yet to post a pregnancy picture, oops. Presley may appreciate this one day. :)

7AM!

This fellow loves to wake up between 6am-6:30am.

With Caleb about to move in with Cohen I had to think of a plan, because Caleb sleeps until 7-7:20am.

There is a now a clock in Cohens room and he is instructed to NOT call us to come get him out of his bed until he sees the 7.

 

Yesterday morning he called for me at 6:57 (guess he saw A 7). So we went over it again, the 7 has to be the first number.  So this morning he yelled at....7:07am.  GO COHEN :)  I hope this works!  If not at least he is learning number recognition. hehe.
