I have now started doing some "school" with Presley and she is loving it. She is so enthusiastic about it!

This is one of the only pictures I got of the whole night, it was so busy and fun at our church Fall Festival.

The boys had off the day after our Fall Festival so it was nice to take it easy, and the these two counted their candy, laid it out, organized it, traded, etc.

We let them keep some of it ;)

Caleb or "sleepy" was still asleep during the morning candy counting.

Presley loves playing pretend anything! She will pretend she is on a trip, she will play mommy and big sister, she has imaginary friends, etc.  She will come up with anything and play it out for awhile! Today, was "her birthday party".

I was invited- it was in the bathroom.

After she blew out her candles (after we sang happy birthday) she then opened her presents...

which were these..

She "opened" a yo yo in one box and dolls in the other.  Then we had another party for her stuffed animals, again in the bathroom.

I hope she is always this imaginative :)

Halloween Party

Our local library had a Preschool Halloween Party this week and Presley went as Cinderella.  She was so excited to get all dressed up.  

She was even more excited when we ran into "Batman" aka Hank :)

They had a puppet show, snacks and trick or treating through the library.

The library always does such a great job at these things!

 

"Batgirl"

A horse stepped on "batgirls" foot the other day and we are thinking it is broken. Thankfully our next door neighbor is a veternarian who noticed it and will take her in for xrays and medicine. We would have no clue what to do with a chicken with a broken foot. 

Cohen felt terrible for her and we are nursing her back to health.

Next I was off to Caleb's game. We were so glad Uncle Andy came out to support the Stars team.

 They love him!

This weekend marked Cohen's 2 year gluten free anniversary! He hasn't had gluten (intentionally) in TWO years.  He has gone to many birthday parties, school functions, holidays,etc and never once complained about the food others get to eat.  He knows how much better he feels when he avoids it which is why I think he is so mature about it and never complains.  He is even so mature about it he has declined ordering Chic Fil A from school because he thinks they don't change their gloves before handling his grilled nuggets.  So you better believe we will celebrate this day each year with gluten free cake and any gluten free dinner he requests me make.  His request this year: gluten free fried chicken, cake and bowling with a friend.

I think the "fried chicken" was a hit! Cohen loved it and even shared with Jax who seemed to also enjoy it

Zach took the boys bowling (and our friend Daniel who was playing with us for the day) while I worked on the dinner "party".  We ended the night with Jax spending the night and Cohen said he had a great celebration!

Fall Festival 2015

Papa Denning and Nonnie came to visit for Grandparents Day at the boys school.

Presley was a little excited.
