This was Cohen today at CC. He didn't make it past 11am.

We love love the weekends when Daddy is home :) 

Last night we went to Outback to use a gift card we had from Christmas

While we were there Presley wanted to call Mimi (on the Outback pager).

We love that now our 5 year old can take our picture!

The best Saturday morning for the kids is when their Daddy is home and Jax is here.

Happy Spring :)

We have been so busy around here, this weekend was such beautiful weather :) I think the kids and Zach stayed outside almost 10 hours on Saturday!

This past week during our Bible time Cohen asked if he could have a prayer notebook like mommy, so we found a notebook...

So sweet to see that our children are learning to lift up others to the Lord in prayer.

In less than a month....

In less than 2 weeks...

Spring

It is finally feeling like Spring around here and we are loving it! Saturday we all spent all day outside playing :)

The boys went on the four wheeler. Zach took the boys to a "secret hideout" back in the woods.

If Seth sees the boys outside he will come up and give them a ride on the motorcycle. Caleb loves this!

We still get two eggs a day from our two chickens :)

In the spring we hope to go to the chicken swap and at least get one more chicken so each child can have their "own".
 

We are really ready for Spring :)

Grocery Buddies and Tantrums

The other morning while Caleb was at Tot School we made a trip to the grocery store. These two cuties sat in the buggy and .... took selfies.

And this... is Caleb, every morning, when Zach leaves for work, or when he wakes up and discovers Zach already left.

The Reveal

Cohens best friend Jax is having a birthday this month and instead of a party he requested a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge. Little did he know that he would be able to go, and bring his buddy, COHEN! It is a special trip just Kristin and Jax and Cohen and I will go on to celebrate a special birthday. We decided to keep this from the boys until it got closer and reveal it to them together... I love their friendship. 

This is so special and Cohen was so excited you would think it's his birthday gift as well although he is just the guest:)  After the reveal Cohen came home and wanted to watch Youtube videos about it (think, indoor water slides!) 

 I'm sure this is all we will hear about in this house until March 27 :)

(Don't worry, Zach will be taking Caleb on a daddy son date to Thunder Valley to get his mind off his big brother being away)

Boxcar Children

We finished our third Boxcar Children book today before nap and Cohen was so excited he asked me to take a picture....

 

I think he really just wanted to do this....

We are really loving them as our chapter book read aloud. We have done classics like Charlottes Web, Farmer Boy, Little House in the Big Woods and then got into the Boxcar series and have read 3 of them and and I think we have really found one Cohen (and Caleb) really enjoy.  Thankful there are hundreds of them in the series!! He loves them so much we do 2 chapters a day and sometimes more if we are at a really good part! Next one Cohen wants to read is the Basketball Mystery.  :)  Zach says he used to love these as a kid! I was more into the Babysitters Club :) Maybe I can read those to Presley one day!
