2013

Here is our 2013 at a glance :) 

We didn't do anything extravagant, 

or too exciting

but it was exciting, to us 

:)

What a great year we were able to celebrate God's faithfulness.

Mommy started making P wear ruffly clothes :)

We got cute chickens! 6 of them. 4 died shortly later....

                                Mommy dressed us again, wore monogram bowties and tutus

Started Guitar

Took wagon rides!

Played soccer!

Turned 1!

Dug sand

Learned how to swim, or tried

Presley got pigtails

We lit sparklers!

And got new glasses

Mom locked herself out of her car, at the house, twice

We got sick

but quickly restored back to health! And started Preschool at home :)

And started CC!

Learned how to eat Oreos the right way.

Made new friends at CC

Played so hard, we slept. Alot.

Found daddys jersey and helmet!

Pigtails got longer

We celebrated everything we were thankful for :)

And another birthday! 3!

And got more glasses...

 

And dressed like police and robbers!

Couldn't forget this moment!

Enjoyed our best friends.

Got dirty

Rode horses

Had the opportunity to tutor these sweet kids.

 And celebrated Christs birth!

Can't wait to see what 2014 is like!

Christmas 2013

This is our daughters reaction to her brother getting a monster truck, and her getting a princess wand. 

 

On a better note, the kids enjoyed their big gift of helmets and their own four wheeler! I think Z is more excited then them to go down to the field and ride.

The day was chaos. But, beautifully spent with at our house, Christmas breakfast down at Momaw and Popaws and then dinner at my Mothers.

We are so thankful for Jesus, for his birth, and for the sweet gift he is to us. 

That is why we celebrate.

 

The Christmas Express 2013

Last year we did a fun tradition see here.

The Christmas Express!!

We act like we are putting the kids to bed, following normal routine, but in their sheets are tickets for the Christmas Express (aka our car). They then get to go downstairs and get in the car where its warmed up, hot chocolate in each seat, snacks, and Christmas music :)

Then we go look at the Christmas lights!

This year we played a game where the kids were to be looking for nativity scenes at each stop, thankfully, most of them had one! :)

The people who enjoy the peace of God that surpasses all understanding are those who in everything by prayer and supplication let their requests be made known to God. The key that unlocks the treasure chest of God's peace is faith in the promises of God. So Paul prays: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing". And when we do trust the promises of God and have joy and peace and love, then God is glorified; Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men with whom He is pleased: men who would believe.

We were able to drive down to NC to spend Christmas with Papa Denning and Nonnie! The kids loved it. Miss Presley likes to give people her own names, so Papa Denning, is Poppi. 

I adore this picture.

On another note, we were glad to come home, because somebody really had a difficult time with us leaving.
