I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We really enjoyed being together and with other family and just enjoying the day of our Saviors birth!

Christmas morning Z and I were actually waiting on the kids to wake us up!

Caleb couldn't have cared less. He was more interested in old toys he already had, Cohen's gifts or the dog...

Every Christmas morning we go to Momaws at 8am for sausage gravy, deer steak gravy, and tomoato gravy biscuits! :)

We pretended like the gifts were over and out the door to Momaws,

We had a special gift waiting for Cohen.....

Later that afternoon the boys played outside and Z fixed Cohen's old go kart so Caleb could ride with Co :)

The go kart is difficult to explain to a 13 month old how to push the button to make it go, steer, etc. it took months to teach Cohen but Cohen was kind enough to do it for brother so they could ride together :) Talk about team work!!

Sad it takes a NFL player to encourage people to google scripture and learn the word of God because he is doing it, but at least he is a good role model not getting in the news for drunk driving, getting arrested, hes in the news for his faith : ) I pray our boys never lose sight of their one true love, Christ and profess it daily, through their actions, and maybe even on some face paint. And I pray our daughter (still weird to say) will marry a man who does the same.

Cohens week :)

Whew, since all the "its a girl" excitement came and gone I am finally back to reality to share some exciting things that have happened over the last week : )

Cohens preschool had their Christmas Program! We were so proud of Cohen for standing on stage the entire time even though 99% of the time he had a deer in headlights look... Poor guy had fallen asleep in the car on the way over and basically woke up moments before they went on stage. He did AWESOME!

But he also participated during the reindeer hokey pokey :)

Such a pleasure that lots of his friends were in this too. There is Kate! In the candy cane pants!

and Lilah and Jax!!! They did their motions so good!

Vivian slightly towered by an excited child, but there she is just as happy as Cohen :)  Needless to say this was HUGE for these kiddos to stand there in front of all those people. Great job!

Cohen had his 6 month checkup with his eye doctor this morning. Thank you grammy for meeting us and letting Caleb nap in the car for the appointment : ) SUCH A HELP!

The eye doctor facility is very child friendly. Which we need!

He did so good during his test!

 With his glasses he is a perfect 20/20. Without his glasses his astigmatism causes blurred vision making it almost impossible for him to see pictures or images far away etc.

We are still working with him to keep on the glasses 70% of the day. But doctor said it is such a challenge for a 2 year old but by the time he is 4 he will love and actually request his glasses instead of throwing them in the road or out the window, etc :)

So proud of Cohen!

The Candy Cane Express!

Today we took the boys to ride the Candy Cane Express at the Transportation Museum. Cohen loves loves loves trains. When we told him where we were going on the way to the car he jumped up and down and kept saying "thank you so much, I love trains!!!".

We all had a lot of fun today! Cohen even saw his buddy Cyrus there! Its so funny to watch kids see each other out in public, they are so confused like "hey, i see you in school, why are you here" attitude. It was cute :)

crafty boys!

I love being crafty especially during Christmas season, I am a huge fan of "homemade" gifts :)  The boys got to start one of their projects this week. 

 

I can't show the finished product because it is going to a certain someone that may read this blog. The boys love being crafty and getting paint everywhere. I am looking forward to the rest of the projects we have and baking to do :)

 

Wives tales!

I always think its fun to look at wives tales when i'm pregnant to guess the gender! I did this with Cohen and Caleb. : ) Just something fun to keep me guessing until we know!

So according to old wives tales.......

Salem Parade!!

Friday we took the boys, for the first time to the Salem Christmas Parade. What an event! They acted just how I thought they would. Caleb layed on my lap and was mesmerized by the action and Cohen.. well tried to be in the parade. He had us laughing so hard!!! He saw "jesus" twice and kept yelling "hey Jesus!!! merry christmas!" or he would just yell silly words at people in the parade.
