Kate is TWO!

Friday was Kate's second birthday and we had the pleasure of celebrating with her. : ) Cohen and Kate are in the same church class and were in the same preschool class last year so they are great friends. The party was lady bug themed and Lisa did a great job! The kids had so much fun, so much that they couldn't even nap when they came home they will still filled with excitement : )

Afternoon pool fun, on the patio : )

The other afternoon my sis Amy and Lena came over to swim in the pool! Well sit, because its 3 inches of water when Caleb is in it. They had a lot of fun...staring at each other...pulling each others swim suits....grabbing each others faces... ya know. the usual for two 8 months old to do : ) We will be so bored when they go back to Guam. We have gotten used to having them around!!

Poor Caleb is seriously teething and bits his gums together.


I DO NOT like that he is already giving me "the look" like "go away mommy"	:(

Aunt Amy sprinkled Cohen with the watering can. Great fun!

Touch a Truck

Every summer Greenhill park hosts the "Touch A Truck" event. The park is filled with tractor trailors, dump trucks, tractors, firetrucks, buses, police cars, race cars... you name it, its there. The kids get to walk around and get up in the trucks and blow the horns, press buttons, etc. It was HOT HOT HOT.

Here, they got to swing on the firetruck rope... cool!

And a race car is there. Zach spoke to the coordinator

about possibly bringing his race car next year. : )

The US Food Service truck is a big cooler! So everyone went in to cool off.

We found Colton!

And finished with a snow cone : )

Poor Zach got to deal with the heat b/c Caleb and I went back

to the car halfway through and enjoyed the AC (per Zachs orders)

so he was alone during the hot hot part of the day.

but they had a blast :)

Movie Date

No, not with my husband, with Cohen!!! I took Caleb to Momaws so I could focus all my ~~energy~~ attention on Cohen. Veggietales was playing for $1.00! It was a great way to do something fun, for cheap, in the AC. We met Vivian, Kate, Ansley and Daniel there. These kids see each other multiple times in a week and are growing up to be great friends : ) We however missed the Bollings and Carrolls.

I got the boot as Cohen's date once Kate arrived.

Sorry Jax.

He then sat down and said "Kate, see my boots?"

I ~~sneaked in~~ brought some popcorn for the kiddos.

He couldn't sit still one more minute as we posed for our mommy son photo.

oh well, this is reality. ha :)

Afterwards, he and Ansley rode the motorcycle. She drove. :)

He snoozed most of the time :)

We had a wonderful time and hope to do this a few more times this summer. Cohen did a great job sitting in his seat, except for the three times he had to potty. I was impressed with my rowdy boy : )
