Franklin

Today Duke brought something to our porch, a turtle! I got the boys and took them outside to meet him and decided we could let him "live" with us for the day. Cohen named him "Franklin" : )

 

Hospital :)

We had a change in plans and Presley did not want to wait until the scheduled C-section date of Friday May 11th to make her arrival. Sunday afternoon started with contractions and ended with a beautiful little girl by 4am the next day. Enjoy some pictures of Presley and our first few days with her!

Shannon, Jody, Erin, Kristin and Lisa came for a late night visit and brought me Pino Gelato! They didn't leave til wayyy past visiting hours. We love girl time! :)

Coming home :) Our household is now changed forever and we can't wait!

We felt so loved while at the hospital. Everyone that came to visit brought something! I had my favorite popcorn brought to me, cheeseburgers, flowers, lots of diet cokes, homemade baby blankets, cupcakes, hair bows, biscuits, cabbage leaves, ice cream, you name it, we got it :)  We are so blessed to have a group of people who love our family so much.

Presley Jean

Look who surprised us and came a few days earlier!!! We are so in love with our little girl!!! Thank God for such a healthy baby and beautiful  girl.

Go Karts!

One of Zach and Cohen's favorite things to do is go go kart racing together! It is their father/son time. Caleb is almost old enough to join them for this father son activity : ) Awhile back we all went because Cohen kept insisting that Caleb was big enough to come now! So we went but he was still too small for the 2 seater :( Not much longer!

Front Porch

One of my favorite things about our house is the front porch! I love front porches. They always remind me of my house I grew up in as a child, we had a nice wrap around porch with a swing, and we did so much out there! So I was so happy that this house has that too :) I finally cleaned it from the winter and got it ready so we could hang out on the rocking chairs and watch a storm, or eat ice cream, and now the boys love "porch time". We do our school out there sometimes, play with toys, do puzzles, enjoy lunch, etc. 

Yesterday the boys were so content playing out there I even got to read a magazine on the rocking chair.... with my feet up! I won't think that will happen everytime but it sure was relaxing :)

The list is endless but everything I can think of is READY :)

 I keep nesting and thinking of random things to complete before I go but the necessities are taken care and we are ready for her arrival.  We can't wait to meet our sweet little girl!

Water Play

The weather has been so weird here lately! I like it like this though, small doses :) Today was 81 degrees! The boys got on their bathing suits and we played outside all afternoon, good news is daddy got off early enough to enjoy some time with us outdoors!
