"Snow" Day

The kids woke up this morning to their first "snow" day. It was about an inch : ) Presley was so excited she ended up outside in her pjs and snow boots.  Not a few minutes later Cohen had every child dressed in layers for playing in the snow (at 7:03am).

Also being a big helper today he then made his brother and sister breakfast from start to finish! Including OJ and silverware on the table. I think he really wanted to go play more in the snow and thought maybe he could do things quicker then I could- or he just has a servants heart :)

Homeschoolers don't always get out of school work on snow days.

We then realized Caleb outgrew his snow suit but Presley could fit into it!

Cohen then scrapped the car for us even though we didn't have plans to leave or ever leave.

And snow are the perfect combinations!

Finished up our morning with hymns sang by Presley Jean.

What we have been up to

Well- we all 5 got sick these past few weeks.

Stomach Bug/Flu/ and for some of us, we got both!

We are thankful we are all back to good health

:)

The other day the kids (plus Noelle) were inside playing and they saw a snow flurry and went crazy running with excitement!

Don't worry- Cohen shoveled it all for us.

(its still in our freezer- he wanted to save it in a ziploc bag)

A visit to Lewis Gale to visit Uncle Andy after knee surgery!

I am thankful I have a child who offers to paint my toe nails

We have enjoyed being back on schedule with school work, CC and back to routine but we really enjoyed our Christmas Break! Now we are just waiting for our first real snow day

We had a wonderful 2014!!

We celebrated Cohen's 5th birthday!

 

Presley got hair- a lot of it.

 

Then she got burned- 3rd degree burns :(

 

We finally retired the Spiderman costume

Cohen lost his first tooth that beach trip!

 

And learned how to do flips at a friends swimming pool :)

 

Cohen officially started Kindergarten

Starting loving on the last chicken left. Sweet Honey Mustard- and made her a part of our family, indoors.
