Ballet, pizza, and chemistry

Noelle went with Presley to ballet this week. It was bring a friend week :)

They really enjoyed being together!

          A visit to school for lunch.

It was dominos day for Caleb and Presley

Afterward I stayed to watch 1st grade do a play. Cohen was the announcer.

After school we met our friend, Stephanie from church to a chemistry show. 

Cohen volunteered to go down for an experiment. 

Football, shots, alpha gal, 5th grade buddies

One of the boys favorite activities is football in the yard. They gear up in Cohen's pants and helmets :)

       Caleb is ready to play next year!

I love that they put this on Facebook. Presley and her 2 fifth grade buddies. They come and read to them and help them do crafts. Fun thing about this is I used to tutor Betsy, on the left when I tutored for CC, our old homeschool group.

This week

Thursdays while Presley is in ballet the boys and I meet our friend Helen at Brooks Byrd for some orange aids. We bring one back to Presley :) 

     Presley has really enjoyed Snapchat. 

Everyone is also enjoying Cohen's bug collection. 

Cohen doesn't just enjoy our chickens but here he is loving on 3 of Mrs. Shannon's.

Explorer day and umbrellas

Yesterday was explorer day at school for 1st grade.  This past unit they learned a lot about bugs and to finish it off they go on a hike behind the school.  They got to wear whatever they want, bring "weapons" etc. what they didn't know was that their parents were hiding along the hike, in costume.  

I was an Indian. And Cohen loved that he got to wear his favorite shirt and bring  his nerf guns :) 

The looks on their faces were priceless as they started spotting the parents.

The school is pretty strict about cleanliness, so before they went back in Mrs. Jordan swept all their feet. Haha!

The next day was a visit to presleys class to celebrate Mrs. McPherons birthday. 

Presley and Finley. Both have older brothers at the school so they got to know each other last year.

              It's raining, gift cards! 

     I was able to sneak a peek at Caleb :) 

This poor boy had an anaphylactic reaction to something last week and had to be rushed to the doctor. After a steroid shot he felt much better. He now has an epi pen he carries around until we know what caused it, which Lord willing we find out September 27. At this point we are thinking some sort of bite caused it this severe allergic reaction. While we waited for them to get the shot ready Cohen said "I'm not mad at God" and then prayed. It was scary for sure. We are thankful he is okay and we got to the doctor when we did. The following day he stayed home from school and enjoyed a smoothie from Starbucks, in his bathrobe :)

  

She is loving ballet! She has made some new friends and looks forward to it each week. The purple sock helps her with learning her right and left.

           Caleb, is enjoying snapchat. 

Caleb's kindergarten timeline project had me looking through old blog posts for pictures. I found a few favorites.

     Friday night was Rec night at our local high school football game, the rec players look forward to it each year because they get to run on the field at half time.

Caleb has begun reading and is doing a great job! Saturday we went to the library and he got his own library card :)

The day has arrived! Presleys ballet classes finally started :)
