It may take awhile to get a video or pictures up of him crawling b/c everytime I try a certain someone (ahem, Cohen) steals the show.

feeling crafty

The other day I was feeling a little crafty. As I rummaged through my craft closet I found this....

It was basically a brand new can b/c I only used it on 2 picture frames a few months back for Christmas gifts.It then got me thinking of all the posts and magazine articles I have seen about using chalkboard paint on walls, or picture frames, etc. pretty much anything you want to. So I made the impulsive decision (like all my decisions) to do this....

I painted the inside of our pantry door.  It used to hold some racks that basically just got in the way of everything and I turned it into our "art" door : )  The boys are a little young to really make art on it so I decided to use it to hang up some artwork they have done. I glued on clothspins to hold the art. Now I won't have to clutter the fridge with artwork. Anddddd. I can even write down memos, etc. with chalk.

Speaking of chalk did anyone know that chalk can be used for this....

A bundle of chalk hung in a closet will absorb extra moisture and keep your clothes smelling extra fresh!

Ok, I am done bragging on chalk.

Who knew....

Who knew that adding marshmellows can keep brown sugar soft?

Can't wait to go do this to my clumpy brown sugar bag.

hes brillant!

While potty training Cohen I have been exhausted carrying around toilet seat covers or toting along his floor potty to prevent the nastiness of public restrooms, bless his heart hes too short to stand and pee and actually make it in the potty... it wasn't until Cohen asked to do this approach that I said "hallelujah!"

He now stands.. 

on the toilet seat.... 

and just aims it down!
