Is learning how to crawl! She is slowly doing it and has crawled 3 separate times today! Go Pres! :)

Caleb's burn

Three winters in this house and not one burn from the wood stove, actually I'm surprised it took this long before someone got burned. Poor Caleb was playing Friday and fell down and tried to catch himself, on the stove. His hand suffered 2nd degree burns.

Luckily the doctor talked me through what to do so we could avoid a trip to the ER.

It was very scary. He cried constantly for over 3 hours. So glad he is better now and it is slowly healing :) We are thankful nothing worse happened!

Costume Fun

I knew these boys would love their costume box they got for Christmas! 

They fall asleep in them...

They even wear them to play games in...

  It is a big hit in this house!

Really adore each other!

I've been getting desperate past couple of days to keep the boys entertained when they can't play outside, I gave Cohen a roll of wrapping paper I was done with and said "be creative".

Cohen took it upon himself to make a "slip n slide". He and Caleb put on their slippers and took turns running and sliding!

I never got a picture of them in action because I was protecting Presley, but you get the idea! ;)

Presley's Christmas shirt

I was so happy how the shirt I made Presley turned out! She loved pulling and eating the ribbon on it and it was super cute :)

"The Christmas Express"

I came across something so cute on Pinterest the other day I had to do it! It's called the "mini van express". You print a golden ticket, put it under your children pillows, you pretend to "put them to sleep" when they go to lay down they see the golden ticket and you then surprise them but telling them, no bed time but grab your slippers and head to the car. Inside the kids will find popcorn, hot chocolate and a trip to go look at Christmas lights. 

 We decided to do our own version of this : ) I printed the tickets off and laminated them. Zach and I were going through the bedtime routine when he went downstairs, heated up the car, popped popcorn, made hot chocolate while I read to the boys. Then Zach yelled for the boys to grab their slippers and come to the steps. They were so excited when Zach handed them both tickets and told them to line up at the door. They were so EXCITED that they weren't going to bed after all! We got in the car (in pjs) and headed to look at lights : ) Z even popped us some popcorn!

Definately a new tradition but now the boys will know what this means anytime they find a golden ticket. Maybe do it in July too, for ice cream?
