Porch

These three have really taken an interest to coloring. It will occupy them for awhile! Maybe not Presley at this age but the boys really enjoy it. Cohen is learning how to draw and he seems to enjoy it (he specializes in drawing Angry Birds) :) . They gathered every coloring book, markers, crayons and hit the porch to color yesterday afternoon. Love these three sweet gifts.

I don't know why it is so fascinating to children to throw rocks in water... but it is. We took a few breaks from riding the bikes on the trail this morning to go look at the river... and throw rocks in it.

Trash to Treasure

Cohen was in camp all week at the YMCA. It was called Trash to Treasure, I thought this sounded so fun and creative :)

He seemed to really enjoy it! I spied a few days while I was there working out and they sang camp songs, did dance motions, had water day where they swam in the pool and did outdoor water slide, snack, stories, etc!

Here are his creations. 

A top made from an old CD and a marble.

 

A maze made of cardboard and straws.

They cut old water bottles into fish, painted them and then strung them through old Christmas lights. So cool!

Stilts! Made of old coffee cans that Cohen painted and decorated and tied with rope. 

A flower. Old TP rolls, a stick, old water bottle.

Caleb is playing with the maze, it was almost nap time so its hard to see because the room was dark :)

His best buddy, Jax stopped to visit him at camp while he was at the gym with his family.

Cohens maze was not complete without him drawing a picture of daddys race car on the side. So cute! I took this and sent this to Zach.

He seemed to really enjoy it, we love the camps at the Y! Caleb will be doing a preschool Einstein camp in July :)

We have been so busy this past week with VBS, we are all now rested and back! I didn't even take any pictures from VBS.

When the kids play outside they get so dirty. We have mud pits, dirt, gravel, everything to possibly get a child as dirty as possible.... therefore, sometimes they just need to be hosed off before they can come inside for bath.

Someone captured this of Caleb the last night of VBS and sent it to me. I love it because he wants to be a firefighter or police officer when he grows up so I know this was so special to him.

(Caleb had to miss some nights of VBS because he was scared of the dragon, therefore he got special treatment, like being outside as soon as the firetruck arrived and got to play with the equipment).

 This week Cohen will be at camp at the YMCA. I am excited for him, it is Trash to Treasure. They will find trash... and turn it into a treasure! I love how creative that is!

 Our nephew Ryland Scott Myers was born Thursday. So so precious and such a blessing!

What better way to cool off in the summer then go to the library. We love that place and the boys loved that their cousin Colton got to join us.
