FCS, Soccer and Football

I turned around to see Presley singing into some yarn at Jo Ann Fabrics.

She is quite the performer.

I had volunteered at the school Friday and Presley was my helper. Mrs. Moslow (the secretary) made Presley her own "volunteer" sticker.

It was Dominos pizza day and they rewarded Presley with a piece of pizza.

Fall Festival later that night.

We went and the kids had a great time.

They really enjoyed seeing their friends.

Saturday Soccer

After soccer we raced to the stadium to see Cohen play. The games were at the same time but thankfully we got to see the end of Cohens.

What a blessing all of our family is to us. The kids loved seeing everyone and it really made their day!

Today the Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten class took a field trip to Hollins to see the play/musical "Good Night Moon"

I helped chaperone the JK class since last week I helped Cohens at the Pumpkin Patch.

I think Cohen secretly enjoyed being without me and riding in someone elses car, sitting with other parents, etc.

We had to wait awhile and the play was 90 minutes. We were there about 2 hours and these 4 year olds did great!

We see Cohen! He was showing me something to send to Zach.

It was a very creative and cute play!

Life the last few days via iphone pictures

Cohen came home from school with the assignment to see if his pumpkin would float or sink.

It floated.

Miss Presley Jean has really been enjoying puzzles everywhere she goes.

This is at the Y and this is her favorite thing to do there besides play with the baby dolls.

Cohen lost tooth #5 (or 6) over the weekend.

I've lost count- but he was so excited!

I mean how can we just pick one!

Friday Zach took the boys to the Glenvar High School game and sent me this picture. The boys enjoyed it so much Caleb made some new friends!

Sunday he took Presley out for ice cream and the hardware store (her request) for her "outing" but he didn't send me a picture.

{Sidenote: the blanket on Caleb's lap is a Glenvar blanket that is about 15 years old from when Zach and Holly went to Glenvar}

Pumpkin Patch 2015

Thursday mornings can be a little rough around here.

I was attempting to get Cohen dressed.

But once he remembered it was field trip day he got moving quicker

They were burying each other, building things, throwing it on each other, etc.

I went to get the boys from school early last Tuesday because they were calling for flooding on our street. I came back too late. VDOT eventually came and wouldn't let anyone in, or out.

Thankful we were able to go to Grammys until we had a plan.

Later that evening we found a way across.

Caleb got pretty sick, so he stayed home one day.

He is much better now!

Maybe it was the milkshakes at 9am.

Presley enjoys the quiet of the house, with Brody the cat while the boys are at school.

 I'm not sure if the cat felt the same, either way it was cute and she wanted me to take their picture.

Rainy Days

It has been raining here for 2 days straight. Perfect weather for staying in and relaxing, and playing in mud :)

This picture was just the beginning.

They had mud fights and took turns sliding in the mud as fast as they could.  Cohen even made "mud angels"

The bath water was dark brown and the clothes and shoes had to go through the wash 3 times before they could be dried!

This weather also called for snuggling with pets
