Cohen has been saying some very cute, random, witty things lately and I want to remember it so I have to post so I won't forget!
1. Yesterday I was helping him put one of his birthday toys together, I was having the hardest time doing it and finally got it working!
Cohen: "Mommy, I am so proud of you!" "Thank You"
I also heard him telling his cousin Colton that he was proud of him for something he did. So sweet. Hope his sweetness lasts!!!
2. Me: "Cohen, whats in Mommy's belly"
Cohen: "Baby Jesus?"
(This was a few months back, he now knows that I am NOT carrying baby Jesus in my belly, and her name is Presley) He calls her preblee :)
3. Zach: "Cohen, are you obeying right now?" in his stern voice
Cohen: "Don't speak to me like that Dad, you are NOT showing me kindness"
So hard not to chuckle during this incident!
4. The other night at Red Robin Zach had to take Cohen to the car for some displicine, on the way to the car a police car was flying by with his lights and sirens on.
Cohen: "daddy, did you call them to come get me? I'm sorry I don't want a ticket!" in his most terrified voice.
5. Me "Cohen! Come down we are ready to eat"
Cohen: "Mommy, I just want to play for 30 more seconds, okay?!"
30 seconds? I had to laugh out loud!
6. Me: "Awww, you look very handsome today Cohen!"
Cohen: "No Mommy! I am not handsome, I am Caucasian"
I was soooo stunned on why he knew this word, But last week during his "video time" I made him watch a video on different children in the world, in the video it showed the children and explained the race and where they are from, their culture, etc. I am guessing this is only way he knows that word. Weird!
7. A few days before his birthday we were eating lunch with my mom at her office. A women she works with said "Cohen how old are you gonna be?"
Cohen's replay: 9
kathy: "9! I thought you were going to be 3"
Cohen: "No!! I told you! i'm going to be 9 my dad said so!"
{embarrassing! we had to have a little talk afterwords in the car about being polite... and the fact that he would be 3, not 9.}
He makes it very hard not to laugh in situations when we are reprimanding him because he always know how to say the cutest things! I think he is going to be a very outspoken boy!
Caleb on the other hand is so frustrated that he can't tell us what he wants, etc. we are working on more and more words with him daily and I can't wait until he can say cute things too :) He just started squealing "daddy!!" when he sees Zach and its so precious! "da da" was definitely cute, but this is even better!
